You guys requested for a OOTD with Jeffrey Campbell Foxy Grey! I know there isn’t much going on except for my standard black dress and how I layered over for work. Yes, I am getting a mirror cut and fitted into my wardrobe so I hope my OOTD will look clearer and I sure hope it doesn’t dirty so easily ( yes I am so full of excuses).

So far, I haven’t had the time to take an OOTD with my JC 99 Wedges, but I did wear it and I got a few blisters after walking in them for 2 hours. I would say foxy is definitely the more comfortable of the pair but in terms of support the wedges are a super snug fit and grip well. But breaking it in is quite a pain. I was expecting Foxy to be really scary to walk in because of the heel height but the platform height helps to balance things out and I do feel like I’m walking on heels but I don’t feel wobbly or unstable.

I would not recommend buying foxy online unless you have already tried them in a store. Also, Foxy’s just enhance the feet so better get sexy toenails before stepping out in them! hehe

This was the soft brownish smokey look I did. I’m really thinking of dying my hair strawberry blonde. I’m wondering if ombre hair is the way to go or if it will just die out the moment I decide to dye my hair that style. Hair is just mind boggling business!

Moms, sister, son and I made our long journey down to Singapore’s Underwater World today and I thought to share the more beautiful sea creatures with you guys.Underwater is a rip off first and foremost, as it’s a pathetic 10-15 walk around to see some of the most ugly, gigantic, fierce looking sea creatures. I couldn’t bear to put up the pictures of sharks, scary huge ass sea creatures cause it might frighten some peoplee. I hope my little one doesn’t have nightmares tonight!

Yup, I only liked the stunning jellyfish and the huge endangered turtles. Nature is truly amazing.

After our little outing at the Underwater World, I came home to find these cute headphones that my hubby had bought for me at the IT show ( at expo). It’s a huge IT show where people flock to buy computers, laptops, cameras, games….

You know my hubby has known me for such a long time when he gets me shocking pink headphones without asking me. I got Jeffrey Campbells yesterday and pink headphones today, I’m a really happy lady this weekend. Loves.

Omg. I could not contain my excitement and just had to blog about my fantastic find in this ultra resourceful island that I live in.

I found Jeffrey Campbell shoes and omg it was like fate knew that I needed good looking, super comfortable and just really good shoes to walk in (after my painful ankle sprain this past week). I’ve been eyeing JC on solestruck.com and some other online websites because of the Black Friday Sale that is going on right now but I was pretty unsure of the sizing because I’ve never bought shoes online and I only know I usually wear a size 37 or size 5. These are the sizing that I am used to but after checking with the shoe guide online, I realised that the size I wanted to get was a little too small. Also, I did my research and found a store in Bugis area selling JC shoes and decided to try my luck there first. I was ready to face inflated prices and a really small pathetic range but strange enough there were 2 amazing pairs of JC shoes that I bought in 10 minutes. 10 MINUTEs flat. That’s how in LOVE I was with FOXY and 99 wedge shoes. Seriously, I’ve tried Steve Madden and Heatwave and what not and I ‘ve never felt that any of the shoes were a perfect fit. Till today.

Foxy was going at a super duper cheap price because it was the last display piece. It doesn’t look brand new and wasn’t in black which I initially wanted but it was the last piece, in my size and the grey is pretty neutral ! JC 99 wedge was a sleek black pair that I could not take my eyes off and well priced if you ask me.

Thank you God for the most delicious looking & well constructed pairs of shoes ever.

I’m sure many of you, like me, are smitten by beautiful packaging and I’m an absolute sucker for beautiful, functional and high quality cosmetics.

When I first received the CLIO Kill Black Range & Peripera Review Samples I was pretty blown away by the attention to detail and the amazing packaging. This parcel almost had me at hello. Almost.

A little insight into the Peripera brand before we get into the review proper:

Peripera is the second brand created by CLIO Professional which was launched in 2005. The name Peripera was derived from Persian Mythology – the word ‘Peri” is a mystical pretty nymph whose sexy and unique appearance was admired by all men. ‘ Pera’ was the small pouch that helped Peri transform her magic into reality.

As you can probably tell, Peripera is centered on romanticism and femininity. Everything from their lace themed packaging, to the pretty products and cohesive branding screams “lovely”! Peripera offers a full range of beauty products which cater to a girl’s daily needs. And yes, the products are made in Korea.

Wonder Talk Lip Balm ( Orange Red):-

 I absolutely melted when I saw this lip balm in the pot. Isn’t the packaging darling and simply irresistible? It looks like sexy lip jello to me and I adore it!!

I love how this balm glides on and taste like sweet cherry. Wonder talk lip balm plumps, tints and moisturises lips thanks to peptide, coenzyme Q10,menthol and vitamins. Product smoothens my lips without being annoyingly sticky and it give a soft reddish tint. It also has a nice plumping effect that is flattering. The one strange thing though was the magnetic applicator. Apparently, that pink color magnet thingy is suppose to help you apply the lip balm, pretty silly method cause it will just make the magnet all sticky and dirty unless you are diligent enough to clean it after dipping it in.

Overall, I highly highly recommend this for yourselves, your friends, your moms or whoever you like! Lovesss~~

 My Color Eyes Eye Shadow ( Orange & Golden Blue) :-

Surprisingly smooth, pigmented with just the right amount of shimmer in it. I picked Orange and Golden Blue because I don’t really have these colors in my collection and I wanted to play around with eye colors this year end. I think these eye shadows are great value for money. Packaging as usual is lovely and feminine with the lacy flower details and the quality is really good.

The other colors available are:

Brown, Lucid Pink, Shimmer Violet, Sugar Lavender, White Sparkle, Bronze Sparkle, Secret Green, Orange, Golden Blue, Sheer Beige

Flash Color Eyes’ Stick Eye Shadow (Rose Pink) :-

I like to use these stick color eye shadow as a base. I actually requested for the Pearl White shade but got a Rose Pink. At first I was like this is going to make my eyes look bloated and swollen but after using it, I found the pink tone to be rather wearable and quite sweet. Application is smooth and it helps whatever eye shadow color stick on well. I’m pretty curious about the pearl white and gold for the inner corners of my eyes, so I might just go down to Taka Watson’s to check it out!

The other colors available are:

  Pearl White, Gold, Rose Pink, Lilac, Green, Blue

My Color Lips ( Apricot Orange) :-

Yes, I just had to put in an obscene amount of My Color Lips pictures. I saw this in some you tube videos but seeing it up close and holding this thing of beauty really is something else. The packaging is to die for. The lacy flowery detailing is so gorgeous and even if the lipstick was crap I would buy this in a heartbeat considering the affordable price! Let me not get carried away and focus on reviewing the lipstick proper

** Trying to ignore the thing of beauty**

I selected Sugar Pink but got Apricot Orange. I was a little hesitant about the color because it seemed a little too light to cover my pigmented lips. It feels okay on the lips, is a mild orange shade  but I don’t enjoy the taste. Wear time is around an hour so I wouldn’t exactly consider this a long lasting lipstick.

Overall, I would say that I’m not a fan of the color apricot orange although it looks quite sweet but it doesn’t cover my pigmented lips as well as my Candydoll Lipgloss. Packaging A+ but product wise a B.

Wonder Kiss Gloss (Soft Pink ) :-

Ah… The Wonder Kiss Gloss. This gloss feels buttery and smooth and has no strange taste. I like how glossy it makes my lips feel and packaging is very adorable as expected from the Peripera line. The shade I received looks like a pale pink shade and is actually very flattering if I have an orangey\pink\nude lipstick on. I would say this lip gloss gives lips a 3D shine and I love it. Worth checking out.

I’m wearing both My Color Lips (Apricot Orange) + The Wonder Kiss Gloss (Pale Pink). As you can see the shade is pretty but my pigmented lips can be seen if you scrutinize close enough.

I think I have just become a Peripera fan~~ Truly, the quality of the products  are nice but I think it’s still important to test out the colors before purchasing so you get the shade you like. Also, the price range is affordable  so you don’t have an excuse to carry ugly looking cosmetics around ever again!

By the way, I’ve sprained my ankles pretty badly and had to rest the whole of yesterday. I blame the cheap shoes that I hauled back from BaliSo I’ve learnt my lesson and decided to splurge on a pair of GOOD SHOES for work and the other for play. Do you guys have recommendation? I’ve been staring at Jeffrey Campbell shoes for some time now but is it comfortable to walk in??? I’d love to hear your opinion!!

Hi Beauties!

The gorgeous baby doll looking Ahn Soo Hee really caught my eye in her latest “Be My Baby” MV. I love her polished slicked back hair. Personally I’m not a fan of Wonder Girl’s music but I love their makeup looks. It’s not over the top and pretty wearable too. For the first inspired look, I went pretty  natural with it. I’m using Etude House eyebrow pencil ( review coming soon), Nature Republic’s Gel Eyeliner (Black) and some purple liner on my lower water line. I also tight lined my upper water line and packed on the mascara, though it’s not as obvious in the picture below. I did not connect the top and bottom liner at the corners of my eye because Ahn Soo Hee seems to wear her eye liner in the same fashion. You can always add soft pink blush like her and any glossy shimmery pinkish or clear lipgloss is fine too. I was too lazy to reapply mine ~~

Another look I did with her trademarked  fanned out lashes that Ahn Soo Hee wears a lot of. What’s super cute about her is that she doesn’t seem to wear any circle lenses or use tons of makeup but she always looks so cute and dolly like! Life’s really unfair sometimes ~~ haha Oh well… I used princess lashes below either no 7 or 8 and I had to curl them after I stuck them on to get that fanned out effect. I rimmed my water line gently with a black and purple pencil liner from NYX – nothing too obvious or harsh to retain that innocent look. Her eyebrows are pretty angled too but I just followed my eyebrow shape and gave it a slight angel.

Okie, so I was going out with the family for some shopping and lunch with my Ahn Soo Hee Inspired look and this was my outfit of the day:-

Super simple outfit where the tops were from F21 and the jeans were from Topshop ( its an old old pair) along with my small long champ bag.

Muacks Beauties!

I had no idea that F21 started carrying cosmetics until I watched Dulce candy’s you tube video recently~~ Anyhow the discovery was good for me and my wallet! I was attracted to the huge stash of lip glosses ( super affordable and cute looking) but decided to pass on them because I have too many already. What I went for instead was this perfect red hot uber cute lipstick. I currently have Russian Red by MAC and it’s a really serious sexy red, so I was hoping and praying that F21 Perfect Red would be a more fun and sassy shade.  I’m the sort of person whose extremely skeptical of cheap red lipsticks, so in all honesty, I wasn’t expecting much.

Thank goodness, F21 did not let me down!

WOO HOO! Just look at the super duper adorable lipstick case   Makes me smile just looking at it ~ Tee Hee Hee..

I took the picture above in indoor white light. The lipstick shade in actuality resembles the bottom picture more. It’s such a bright refreshing red color that isn’t aging at all. The taste is ok and it glides onto the lips like butter. For the price point, I’m not complaining one bit. In fact, I think this is a gem of a lipstick! 

Pardon my dirty mirror. I’ve got to get my hubby to clean it down to cleaning it…
