The Benefits of Facials
Women and men around the world enjoy numerous spa treatments that include options like facials. While many suggest that facials have numerous benefits, it is important to understand that different types of facials are available and the benefits you enjoy will vary depending on the type of facial and your personal skin.
Clean Up Facial
The clean-up facial is one of the simplest facial that is suitable for most skin types. The facial involves using steam to open pores and gently remove blackheads and whiteheads. It also exfoliates the skin, gently cleanses and moisturizes the skin.
The most common benefit of this facial is refreshed, clean and glowing skin. Dirt and built up dead skin cells are removed and blackheads are gently eliminated. This type of facial is appropriate for most ages, including those less than 25 years old.
Normal Facial
The normal facial is usually the least expensive facial and involves cleansing, steaming the skin and a gentle massage. It is best for individuals who have normal skin that is not prone to acne. The benefit of this massage is relaxation and refreshed skin.
Special Facial
The special facial is the ideal option for someone who has sensitive skin. Hypoallergenic cleansing and moisturizing creams are applied to the skin. The main benefit of the special facial is individualized treatment that rejuvenates the skin and will not usually cause allergic reactions.
Aromatherapy Facial
The aromatherapy facial combines the cleansing and moisturizing of a normal facial with aromatherapy massage oils to fully relax the body and mind. This type of facial is designed for a luxurious experience that not only revitalizes the skin of your face, but also helps release tension from your whole body and allows your mind to relax due to the soothing scents.
AHA Facial
The AHA, or alpha hydroxy acid, facial is a type of semi-aggressive peel facial that helps remove the dead skin cells with glycolic, lactic and fruit acids. Besides the basic benefit of having clean and refreshed skin, an AHA facial will temporarily make the skin look smoother.
Antioxidant Facial
The antioxidant facial is a special type of facial that uses vitamin A, beta-carotene, vitamin E and similar antioxidants to improve the skin. After cleansing the pollutants from the skin through deep cleaning, the masks full of antioxidants are applied to the skin. The benefit is an anti-aging effect and deep cleansing of pollutants from the environment.
Acne Facials
Acne facials have the obvious benefit of helping clear up problem skin in teens and adults. The process uses cleansing with glycolic acid, warm mist and anti-bacterial masques to help clear the acne and improve the skin.
Conclusion
A wide range of facials are available to deal with problem skin or to improve the health of your skin by removing dead skin cells, dirt and other contaminants. While the benefits will vary slightly based on the type of facial, most facials will make the skin look and feel rejuvenated and healthy.

I love getting facials, like one year ago, facial was a staple for me, at least once/month. I love to have Detox and vitamin C oxy facial. I rarely get acne too, and my complexion got a lot of compliment, but it cost me a looot of money so I stopped! hahah... btw I love your blog, following now ^^

Everybody needs to have a facial once in a while. As it unclogs our pores and rejuvenates our skin.
